Curbless wet rooms, freestanding tubs, double vanities and heated floors. The full suite treatment, with the waterproofing membrane and slope detailing done properly before a single tile goes down.
02 · Bathroom
Trading an unused tub for a real walk-in shower is the highest-return bathroom change we do. We re-slope the pan, move the drain, and rebuild the alcove with a proper waterproof assembly.

Same footprint, entirely different room. New vanity, tile, fixtures, lighting and paint on a compressed schedule — the right scope when the plumbing rough-in is sound and you just need it to stop looking dated.

How it goes

We look at the existing plumbing, the subfloor and the venting, then talk through what layout is realistic in the footprint.

Layout drawings plus line-item pricing with tile, fixture and glass allowances spelled out so nothing surprises you mid-build.

Strip to studs, correct any rot or old galvanized supply lines, rough plumbing and electrical, then pass inspection before closing walls.

Membrane, flood test, tile, grout, glass template, fixtures and final walkthrough. We flood-test before tiling, every time.
Frequently asked
A guest or hall bath refresh in the same footprint typically runs $18,000 to $35,000. A full primary suite with a wet room, custom tile, double vanity and relocated plumbing generally lands between $45,000 and $90,000. Pricing is line-item and written before we order material.
A refresh is typically 2 to 3 weeks. A full gut with relocated plumbing runs 5 to 8 weeks, including inspection hold points and the cure time tile and waterproofing require. Rushing those cure windows is how showers fail.
In most LA homes, yes — provided the house keeps at least one tub for resale. Walk-in showers are what buyers expect in a primary bath, and they are far more accessible as you age in place.
Replacing fixtures in place generally does not require one. Moving a drain, adding circuits, altering framing or changing the layout does. We pull the permit and schedule the inspections as part of the job.
Almost always failed or missing waterproofing behind the tile, an incorrectly sloped pan, or unsealed penetrations at the valve and niche. We install a bonded membrane system, slope the pan to the drain and flood-test before any tile is set.
Yes. We operate under General B CA CSLB License #1060302 with in-house specialty trades, and we carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates are available on request.
